I just wish that would be more daring. It all feels so samey, like the MCU. Sure, give us a "standard D&D adventure" in the spring but maybe do something honestly weird and challenging with new mechanics and a fresh setting and some blood and bewbs in the fall.Well I for one appreciate hearing them say things like the following.
“Part of the power of D&D is that it is this big tent that accommodates so many different play styles, different tastes in terms of genres of fantasy, and different moods about what's appropriate at the table," Crawford said. We've already had someone post today that using cards as your randomizer in your RPGs makes them not an RPG, so I suspect there will be people scandalized by the Book of Many Things this fall.I just wish that would be more daring. Of course they do not they also have access to sales data, they know what sells.They don't have to agree with all the feedback. They've been pretty clear they aren't going to release as many books..... I'm not sure if people think that thru fully
