D&D (2024) Discipline Points or Focus Points?

I'm not usually one to care about semantics, but Discipline Points just sounds weird to me.

So how about Focus?

WotC has made it clear that option is not on the table. It would be inconsistent with their general policies around cultural representation and is just an inevitable headache for them. For culturally neutral terms, focus is more concise, so I guess I prefer that, but I'm not too fussed one way or another.

Of course, at your games you can call them whatever you like!

Other: Spirit Points.

Easier to flavor in Turtle Destruction Spirit Wave Spirit Ball, and Spirit Bomb in then without Orientalism.

Because people all over the world believe in the power of spirit. And you can even reflavor as Divine spirit for Divine monks or ectoplasmic spirit for psionic monks.
