D&D General What Edition was it?

Questing Beast quizzes Mike Mearls, Seth Skorkowsky, and Kelsey Dionne on their D&D edition knowledge. I had a blast playing along (even though I wasn't scoring nearly as well, haha).

I would love to see Chris Perkins play this. The man is a living database of D&D lore and rules. They guy cites issues of Dragon Magazine from memory.

I got 11/20. I guess I am in good with @Maxperson! Though, I lot of the older ones were just guesses. I did get the 4e death save correct (and Mearls didn't)!

I got far more of these correct than I would expect given that I jumped from 1e to 5e. I must spend too much time on D&D discussion forums.

Half my misses were 0e/1e mix-ups. I never read 0e and the writing style was similar in both, so I ended up guessing.

I did get the 4e death saves one wrong that Mearles also got wrong. The fact that 5e just lifted the rule out of 4e makes it a good trick question.

I really enjoyed this video.. I also enjoyed the first one which featured Baron DeRopp, Bob World Builder, and Luka Rejec. I'd like to see more of them.

Seth Skorkowsky is really funny. There's a lot of TTRPG content creators out there, who's content I like, but I get the vibe that I probably wouldn't like them so much in person.. But Seth seems like he'd be a really cool dude to hang out and play a game with.

Same, never read 0e so I assumed those questions were 1e. I never played 3e so I don't know it very well either, but I did much better on those questions than 0e!
