So, a new card from the upcoming Magic Set in the Forgotten Realms has leaked, and includes a bit about the central Dungeon mechanic:

Thinking on it, unless Venture Into the Dungeon has a strong effect, that is an extremely weak card. It's a 0/4 and it doesn't get the 3/0 and flying unless you have completed a Dungeon making it a glorified wall, who knows how long that takes.

Some internet speculation is Venture Into the Dungeon is a lesson like effect for dungeons that start in another zone, but if so I don't think it will be the side board, because otherwise this would make it useless in Commander and Brawl. More likely Dungeon Cards start in the Command zone or a special Dungeon Zone.

Venture Into the Dungeon seems kind of long and clunky for a keyword.
It's two keywords: "Dungeon" for the new card type, and "Venture" for how we interact with them (which remains a mystery). Very old school D&D sounding, intrigued to find out about actual mechanics. We now know Dungeon cards are something that can be completed, after a venture (worth noting that adventure, key yo the name of the Set, is literally "venture into").

It really depends on how common Dungeons are, and how they work. Since they are making sure each Bundle and Prerelease has at least three, they look to be fairly common and central to the mechanics of the whole Set.

It also depends on whether Dungeons are played cards or static cards.

This could be a Commander style of play. Where each player has a set of "Dungeon" cards in play at all times from the start of the game. And you have to send your minions into the enemy's dungeon (Venture) in order to complete it.

Could even be that you get 20 points of "Dungeon" cards and they represent your hit points. Once your opponent has explored all your dungeons (Barring the option to play Dungeon cards as a special type of healing effect) you die.
