WotC's Chris Perkins discusses Spelljammer's space clowns in a new video.
Huh? I can't quite understand what you're asking.right, so a clown is any different from the rest of humanity in any way that does not already apply to the rest of us as we all look wrong and act wrong compared to what was supposed to be?
It's a mad world,
I watched the trailer on Prime last night, in part after this thread sparked my interest, and it looks all around terrible.Killer Klowns from Outer Space was on Comet tv this morning. I had far less trouble believing the clowns than the human characters.
I'm not so keen on the killer klowns from outer space either.
its a pity, I for one would rather explore abberant spider-eel slave traders than fiendish space clowns abducting children.
Why not both?
Spider-Clowns!Space Clowns won’t be anymore playable than the Neogi.
Yeah all that, plus the leadl-white base for the faces is associated with disease and death (skull).I always thought clowns were scary because they were funny. There's an undercurrent of wrongness in the performative comedy. The painted on smile, even if the actor frowns. Many clowns are mute, which introduces another aspect of exaggerated strangeness to their performance. And of course, even in the '70s and '80s, I suspect most of us were first exposed to clowns through cartoons, which is even more of a bizarre exaggeration from reality.
Spider Clown, Spider Clown, Does Anything A Spider Clown Can!Spider-Clowns!
