[h=3]Song of Swords: Tabletop Roleplaying Game by Opaque Industries[/h]
(Campaign Ends : Sunday 19th March 2017; 17:00 UTC)

Song of Swords is a dark, low-fantasy tabletop roleplaying game that focuses on lethal, tactical combat, with a library of arms and armor inspired by real history. In combat and through roleplay, your character’s choices and preparedness have immediate impact and severe consequences.

The game uses a dice pool system that only requires d10s. With a detailed wounds system, and the freedom to decide exactly where and how you attack, combat is a sthrilling, and often deadly, dance.

Inspired by themes and cultures of real-world history, Song of Swords takes place on the continent of Vosca, within the Tattered Realms. It is a rich setting filled with familiar fantasy elements, but below the surface, a dark and sinister world awaits.

The game caters to all players, no matter your campaign or character: play soldiers or gritty mercenaries in historical campaigns, or shrewd sorcerers and cunning elves in high- or low-fantasy campaigns!

You don’t need to grind through hordes of goblins to ‘level-up’ in Song of Swords – though you can, if that’s what you’re into! Instead, as you roleplay, characters that act according to their core nature, and pursue their goals, are rewarded for their efforts and are able to advance their martial proficiency, physical abilities, or skills.

The Big Book of Maps is a cartography collection of more than 130 full-color tabletop role-playing game maps that is bring created by Justin Andrew Mason. These maps are being created on a twice-weekly basis throughout the creation phase of the project (April 2017 to march 2018).

Each map will be provided to those who pledge $20 (or more) in digital format for integration into any tabletop RPG with alternate virtual tabletop (VTT) versions provided simultaneously with each map release.

Most maps will be geared towards a fantasy setting, though a few will likely have potential of crossing genres. The focus of this collection will be dungeon maps, but may include various subterranean complexes, crypts, tombs, castles, caverns, tunnels, mines, etc.

[h=3]The Watch RPG by Andrew Medeiros[/h]
(Campaign Ends : Monday 20th March 2017; 00:00 UTC)

The Watch is a tabletop roleplaying game set in a “light fantasy” setting known as The Clanlands. It takes place during a dark and horrific war between the now-united ten clans who live there and an invading force, known only as The Shadow.

The Shadow is a powerful and insidious enemy that is able to enter ths minds of its opponents and slowly turn them to its side; twisting them into unnatural foes. For reasons unknown, The Shadow is able to more easily influence the minds of men, and has turned a great deal of the clan’s soldeiers against itself.

With most of its fighting forces crippled or worse, the clans have joined together and begun enlisting new warriors to defend their homes. Woman and non-binary femme people who seem better able to resist the Shadow’s hold have been recruited, trained, promoted, and formed into a new order: The Watch.

In The Watch, you’ll play a group of elite soldiers who are called upon time and time again to defend villages, attack The Shadow’s forces at key locations, scout the enemy’s lines, and much more. Each mission comes with its fair share of costs and compromises and you’ll need to navigate them in order to be ready to heed the next call to action.

It’s these in-between moments where the rules for The Watch focus themselves: What do you do to unwind from the pressure that threatens to pull you down? Who do you spend what little free time you have with, and why? How will you hold off The Shadow’s influence so that you can see the end of this war? That’s what you’ll have to find out for yourself…

The Watch uses the Apocalypse World system, originally created by D. Vincent Baker.

[h=3]Mighty Tiny: Tales from the Old Empire the Role Playing Game by Battlefield Press Inc[/h]
(Campaign Ends : Thursday 6th April 2017; 12:30 UTC)

Mighty Tiny is a comic by Ben Dunn (Ninja High School, Steam League) and is the second of his works that Battlefield Press have converted in to a roleplaying game. This time Jonathan Thompson has teamed up with Adrian Jones to write the book, using Cakebread & Walton’s simple OneDice rules system. The book will be 6’ x 9’ and approximately 160 pages.

In a distant future, Man is long gone, but the mice and rats have evolved and developed their own modern societies, complete with commerce, transportation, education, family values, friendships, prejudices… and war. While an uneasy peace exists between the nations of Mousputa and Ratveria, subversive forces are at work to make sure it doesn’t last, forces willing to use the terrible weapons of ancient Man! It’s up to you to make sure that Rodentkind does not follow Man into extinction!

[h=3]PRINT THE LEGEND : A Tabletop RPG of the American Southwest by Lance Hawvermale[/h]
(Campaign Ends : Wednesday 22nd March 2017; 19:12 UTC)

In PRINT THE LEGEND, plyers assume the role of characters in the year 1866, being guided through a series of scrapes, gunfights, and escapades by the gamemaster. The setting is historica; the action is not. It’s up to you to tame the New Mexico Territory through any means necessary: driving cattle, defending homesteads, digging graves, robbing banks, catching outlaws, or making a stand against an Indian charge.

Your choices define you: will you waylay stagecoaches and lead a life of excitement and crime, or will you seek to bring those bandits to justice?

The writing and proofreading are 100% complete and the art and layout is also finished. Backers will receive the 168 page PDF as soon as the Kickstarter completes and funds are released.

Just backed song of swords. I love those kind of gritty games and this sounds perfect for when/if I ever get around to putting some of my favorite novels into RPG form.
