they just put out a half hour or more survey... they don't know what the 2024 book will have in it (or they are wasting our time) so any guesses now are just that

Where have they said that the book they just released is based on a core rule book that hasn't been written and will be released in 2 years?

During the livestream following the D&D Direct, they said that all the books being released now are meant to work with the new Core, whatever that looks like.

There will be an Abyssal Corruption table. That's all that matters. The books will still be compatible if the chapter that table is in changes
