Dragonix's Deadly Denizens June 2024 Art Preview #4 and #5: Sharing two art previews of two staple low-level monsters - the stirge and the zombie! Each of these will feature variants in the upcoming issue! The stirge will have the black, giant, green, yellow, and white specimens. The zombies will have caustic, frost, hulking, putrid, and resilient versions.
Dragonix's Deadly Denizens June 2024 Art Preview #6: Here's one of my takes on the cryptid tatzelwurm - the swamp tatzelwyrm! It has a menacing hiss, a toxic breath, a venomous bite, and a constricting serpentine body. There will be a couple more tatzelwyrm variants in later issues.

Dragonix's Deadly Denizens July 2024 Art Preview #1: Back in 2020, a year before I released Monster Manual Expanded III, I commissioned an artwork for the Death's Head Tree. But then, a year later, Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft was released and it featured the Death's Head. So I ended up not using it anymore. A month ago, I decided to use it as a new monster called the Wailing Willow. It looks like a Death's Head tree (so you can use its VTT for that), but it is a totally different creature with different abilities, and it is already included in the June Deadly Dungeons adventure I am about to release tomorrow (if you're a Mythic Patreon subscriber, that is).
So what does the Wailing WIllow do? It's an Undead Plant that has Stench and zombie-like heads at the tip of some of its branches. These can reach up to 15 feet and can deliver a disgusting bite. When up against a tough or several foes, its heads can all emit a wailing sound that can make creatures who can hear it take psychic damage and become frightened!
