Battlesystem conversions?

Does anyone know if anywhere, anyone has updated the old TSR Battlesystem rules to be more in line with 3rd Edition?

I have the old first edition. I'm trying to do some big mass battle/war stuff and I'm unsatisfied with Cry Havoc (too much number crunching), the Miniatures handbook large-scale system (not enough troops) and the other recent large-scale stuff I've looked through for 3rd Edition. I still think Battlesystem is my favourite. I want to make more use of all my common and uncommon minis for the Skirmish game. Anyone have any ideas or help?

I have and it's been playtested. The only weak point is how it handles area effect damage spells on formations. It is handled, but a little math is involved. It was made for 3.0 and has not been played with 3.5
