The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

I'm just a little old to be oblivious to my character flaws here. I make some attempt to limit them, but I'm not always good at staying on the proper side of the line. Which is why the times you and Danny have had to take me behind the shed I haven't given you much of an argument for the most...

"The term 'GNS' is moronic and annoying" – well this should be an interesting interview

That's a bit odd for Monsterhearts given the media its based on have new NPCs show up all the time.

RPG Systems that allow for characters of diverse levels of Power

Yeah, that's pretty fair. Now, convincing a player with a similar character not to pull out the big guns all the time might be a challenge (which is of course the gig with a lot of this sort of thing and why I say "medium matters"; there are things done with characters in other media that would...

    Spoilers X-Men '97 spoilers

Really good, though I'm not thrilled at them emphasizing the deus ex machina potentials of Jean's still connection with the Phoenix Force.

The "I Didn't Comment in Another Thread" Thread

Ah, so that thread has wandered off into that topic again. Suspect I'm done there.

Sometimes that's just how that works though. What's the line? "Do something right and no one ever remembers, do something wrong and no one ever forgets"? Emotional pain at some points in your life can land forever. Its like the fact that as a GM, you can sometimes still pay for not only...

I don't even disagree with that. But its still odd.

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

As a notable data point here--I met my wife in a virtual space, and we knew each other for months and got quite close before we ever heard each other's voice.

One of the two people I had blocked was like that. I agreed with them more often than not, but they were pointlessly abrasive and I decided I just didn't want to deal with that any more (and keep in mind, I'm not always the best natured person on this board, so that required a pretty high bar)...

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

Its not to weird if you never see the thread at all, but its a little odd when a thread you've been participating in effectively vanishes under your feet.

Yeah, had that happen not too long ago and it considerably confused me at first before I figured out what had happened.

I suspect you're a frequent enough poster that if they're curious, they can figure it out anyway. Infrequent posters its more likely to pass on.

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. I've got about five people blocking me; sometimes I remember why, sometimes I don't, sometimes I'm a little sorry they felt the need, sometimes I figure "no big loss". But I don't think its unreasonable for Morrus or the mods to figure when someone has had...

Especially since sometimes over time it becomes clear that it is their actual opinion, and when not, they sometimes think repeated use of the same hyperbole is appropriate.

Dunno, but I've seen it a fair bit (even been the culprit a bit). Though I'm not sure sarcasm and hyperbole are always the same thing; I've seen people use hyperbole on here with an apparent straight face.
