D&D General Allegations of AI Usage Cause unnecessary Controversy

Gosh...
And I wanna metion that... Magic Items in BP:GoG are still using ai painting! I sure about them, like the BBB, It got some difference between rings and chain. I bought Digital Version and it's still not been fix just now on D&D Beyond.

His tweet says it all:

“Something felt incredibly off about this piece in the D&D 2024 PAX U showcase from Wizards of the Coast, but I didn't want to witch hunt. I just don't think this piece WotC showed off is 100% human, but I have no idea how you prove it.”

He “felt” something was off. That’s it.
But do you see? If he posts something about it on Twitter and FaceBook, he can then say that there are "claims on social media" about it. And if even a single person comments on it, he can post how "people are talking about" it. Someone links to it, or shares it? "Going viral." And so on, just to get more and more attention. Even negative attention--downvotes, reports, angry comments--are still considered 'audience engagement' by the algorithm.

It's best to just cut this off at the source. Channels that generate this type of content will never be worth your time. It's best to just block their channel. That's the only type of engagement that the YouTube algorithm won't consider a positive.

Can you block a channel on youtube? I don't think you can. You can block a user and tell youtube you don't wanna see stuff from that channel, but you can't outright block it. I think.

Please tell me, or better yet show me, if I'm wrong.

Yeah, I've been goofing around with AI tools, and even just my gut feeling is that no, it is not AI generated.

I do wonder if WotC and others will actually start moving away from using digital art as this evolves, and go with a more painterly style...but if Elmore gets "AI detected" dings, well...

??? The known AI art in BP:GoG has been replaced on D&D Beyond. The BBB was not one of the known pieces and I just looked at the piece and looked up the artist and I see nothing to suggest the piece or the artist uses AI. Where are you getting your information from?

The IGN method.

Blocking a channel isn't as straightforward as it should be, IMO. Currently, the best you can do without add-ons is clicking the three-dot-menu and selecting "Don't Recommend Channel." It will remove the channel from your browsing list. I don't know if it reports back to the algorithm, though.

And you can block a specific user, as you have mentioned. Best to do this first, then "Don't Recommend Channel" next.

There's also a Chrome add-on called BlockTube that will let you block videos and channels by name, or block specific comments (by user or by keyword). It'll block regular videos, as well as Shorts and Movies, and it'll even screen auto-generated playlists. It's the best way to clean up your YouTube feed, IMO.

Edit: BlockTube is also available for Firefox.

By my eye. But it can be just worse painting(by a World's Greastest TRPG game Artist? Really?).
The Adze of Annam is truely and ABSOLUTELY AI one. Just take a look closely.
I don't know is that legal to post their pictures on enworld, but you surely need take a closely look of these items.
The Adze of Annam got twisted handle(heavy twisting) and warped rune(or some symbol of Annam? blured). And the place carry that rune or symbol seems connect into the axe's blade. And the Axe's blade... Idk, i'm an artist too, but I cannot understand that blade. just like, just like.... a shoe?
