D&D General Braille for various species?

While not intended for the blind, per se, mind flayers use a writing system called qualith that consists of four parallel lines that they read by running their tentacles over them simultaneously. The meaning of the writing can only be understood by reading the four lines simultaneously by touch, because they reflect different layers of thought.

Thanks for the input! In a older dungeon magazine they actually had a blind wizard use a variant of Braille. Would any of you fine people ever use something similar?

Along these lines: what sort of Braille books/scrolls would dwarves manufacture anyway?
