    D&D (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Alternate Art Cover Reveal

Man that's Argentina. I dont' want to get into real world stuff here but we both know that's literally the whitest latin american country and is considered as such globally. And I also said there are def latinos that consider themselves white, but is not the average.

D&D 5E Bigger monsters do more damage

Hmm ok. I like this. I asked not because I don't like the idea, but just because I want to see how it might look in written form. Maybe something like this. Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +X to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: X (XdX + N) force damage and the target falls prone and is...

D&D General How would you design the new 5.5 (whatever) ed PHB cover? Art!

I'm very happy with the new base cover and think it is perfect.

D&D 5E Bigger monsters do more damage

    How would you write this?

    D&D (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Alternate Art Cover Reveal

US legal definition doesn't mean naughty word to the actual culture and what people consider white though. No one actually, in practices, considers Egpytians White or latinos White. You have to be really blind to reality and discrimination to see that.

    D&D (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Alternate Art Cover Reveal

Uuuh none of this is true. What? I have Arabic and Egyptian family members who are not white and are not considered white. I live in a latino community and I can tell you they are not considered white in any way, shape, or form. Latinos can be white/white-passing, but the majority of latinos in...

    D&D (2024) 75 Feats -- not nearly enough

Strange how they've never been really consistent with this. Back in the Xanathars says, we learned that the hexblade didn't meet the 70% threshold but got in anyway, and that the Shadow Sorcerer was less popular than ALL of the elemental sorcerers but they got cut. I just don't think WotC is the...

    D&D (2024) 75 Feats -- not nearly enough

Multiclassing comes with more then just a feat, it comes with profs. Mike Mearls said it made an issue for making new classes in the game and was what he calls a Tech Debt -- its a drawback that impacts the design of every class afterwards.

    D&D (2024) 75 Feats -- not nearly enough

No, they didnt meet 70% approval. Stop twisting data. They could have been 20% or 65%, the latter of which is not a """"" very strong negative reaction."""""

    D&D (2024) 75 Feats -- not nearly enough

Multiclasing through feats fixes the game. Multiclassing as it is now is a design nightmare; on his patreon, mearls said it was rushed due to timeline.

    D&D (2024) 75 Feats -- not nearly enough

Also 1st level feats exist only to seperate feats so that way you don't have a bigger list to choose from when you make your character. It limits options to streamline character generation.

    D&D (2024) 75 Feats -- not nearly enough

75 feats is good for a PHB. As there will be new splat books released in the future, there will be more feats. I don't think a PHB should have more then 75 feats when it also has 12 classes with 4 subclasses each and hundreds of spells. Like...there's only so much the brain can mentally accept...

D&D General Tips for starting at higher-level?

The solos end up having to be semi-set piece or full on set pieces, so they can take between 30 minutes to an hour. At high level, due to the amount of options, the amount of hit points, the saving throws, wild effects, I feel like this is unavoidable. I've since made other changes to combat to...

D&D (2024) How Does Greyhawk Fit In To The New Edition?

Elden Hawk. Grey Souls. Demon's Hawk? Hawkborne?

    D&D General 5E, A5E, or ToV?

No problem man. I don't want everyone doing this, just more people. I'm a big believer that there are many different ways to interact with TTRPG, and wouldn't want everyone to have my mindset.

D&D General Tips for starting at higher-level?

ONe of my favorite games was an 8-shot that was 17th to 20th level, with multiple sessions at 20th. On the player end, I allowed, at the time, all official WotC content. Had 4 players. Setting was Crifoth -- a blasted wasteland haunted by demons and affliction. Players went around killing...

    D&D General 5E, A5E, or ToV?

You somehow completely missed the point of my original comment only to arrive there again. Good job. Yes, I'm happy multiple companies are doing this, and I'm happy they're being embraced by consumers, some of which will go on to add back into the ecosystem, either through actual content or...

D&D (2024) Greyhawk Confirmed. Tell Me Why.

Because I've read the books??? I didn't grow up with it is what I meant, not that I know nothing about it. I've read the adventures, I've read let's plays, and I've talked to plenty of Greyhawk GMs on other parts of the internet.

D&D (2024) What do people think of the new dragon designs?

I just hope the stat blocks are good, man. I want interesting dragons. Not just carpet-bombers. An adult dragon should feel like a Souls boss!
