You can't copywrite mechanics, only their presentation, as Morrus said above. There are a lot of cookbooks that take advantage of this ....

I'm looking at the monk, and I don't get why I'd play one? Like, every other class does more damage every round. I get that's not the be all and end all, but I get to a monk thing 3 times. The barbarian can rage for 2 minutes (2 entire combats) as an example. the warlock does more damage, and...

I find it odd that Heightened Hearing and Sight gives us the raw number, and not the modifier! Like, why? Give me the modifier, like you do for the stats. This really makes no sense to me. Unless that's the NUMBER, and we don't roll at all.....which, maybe that was spelled out in the intro...

I've been traveling and coaching HS golf.... So I haven't read it .. But I'm going to run the prelude in the middle of phadelver and below..... And likely have the PCs going back and forth between there and Neverwinter..... As I'm unsure how much I love the below parts....

I must be the outlier over sixty guy here.... As I would have liked a new setting, with discussion of how they built it, like the excellent articles on dragon or dungeon. Happy for those that want this though
