The Dark Sun games were tremendous. The Menzoberranzan game was a mess. Eye of the Beholder was the best of the series, but was actually made by Westwood (though published by SSI).

Quite a few times, yeah. It's a very satisfying thing to experience! Like seeing a story come to a great conclusion (whether good or bad for my character, the story works!). It can also help drive the plot forward for other peoples' characters, if mixed in right.

How do you figure that? Regarding miniatures, I'm genuinely surprised at how much they are grossing! That's incredible, actually. I know minis are expensive, but I thought their popularity was waning with 5e going more theater of the mind.

It was relaunched a few years ago. Simple game still, and one I expect to introduce to my kids before long, along with Heroquest and Mice & Mystics. :-)

Best D&D board game is "Waterdeep", a worker/placement game. They also recently made some other non-Drizzt'y board games with themes and keywords from D&D.

It's not whether or not they sink (enough salt and they all float, theoretically), but whether or not - when prodded- they always float into the same number on top. Then you have badly-weighted dice.

Tons of dice are faulty. You can do salt water tests to see if they are weighted wrong. Many skew to either 1 or 20. He likely has a few "lucky dice", which are lucky because they are basically defective inside. :-)

That Cyberpunk game can't get here soon enough! I have huge expectations, but also feel strangely certain that those expectations will be surpassed by CD Project Red.
