    OPi8.com and Audio Content

If you haven't been to my site OPi8.com (I'm Editor-in-Chief) before, now is a good time. What I would like to pimp over here is Mark Teppo's "The Opiate Suite" in the LISTEN section of OPi8.com. This is the first time we've offered audio content and, thanks to Neal Von Flue, it's the first...

    Flowcharts and Adventure Design

I was wondering if anyone here did flowcharting for adventure building. If so, do you have any suggestions, tips, tricks for someone considering the method? Is it an efficient way to plan an adventure?

Please comment on these PC races

Here are four PC races that I'm working on. They are meant to have LA+0 and be "balanced" with the PHB races and each other. Are they? If not, what do I need to do to balance them with core PC races? What do I need to do to balance them with each other? RACE #1 +2 Strength, -2 Dexterity...

    D&D Miniatures Survey Broken?

I tried doing the survey linked from the EN World news, but found that I couldn't get past the second question. It kept erasing my answers and then telling me that I needed to answer all of the questions to continue. Anyone else having this problem? I tried this in Mozilla Firefox 0.8 and...

    Subdual vs. Non-lethal

There is a thread around here somewhere about d20Modern tonfas. In it there is a debate about whether the subdual damage mechanic is better than the non-lethal damage mechanic. I must have missed something because I had thought they were the same thing. Could someone please explain to me the...

    Quantum Random Number Generator

http://www.randomnumbers.info/ The preceeding link will take you to a page that will generate random numbers of the range and quantity that you choose, based not on a simple random number algorithm, but a process related to quantum mechanics. From the press release:

    Pre-painted Miniatures for Modern Game?

I'm starting up a d20 Modern game and would like to use miniatures, but neither I nor my players have any time to paint minis, so I'm looking for pre-painted ones, or individuals that are willing to paint minis for me. The hardest part of the searching I've done for pre-painted modern minis is...

TV before bed bad for sleep?

Just picked up this news item (http://health.discovery.com/newsbreak/focus/saboteurs.html) from Boing Boing which suggests that watching television before bed can disturb sleep and that the flashing lights can reset circadian rhythms. Piratecat probably knows all of this already.

Is it just me? I can't get to the front page. I get a "could not connect to the server" error.

    A Security Issue regarding HTML

I know that HTML is off now, but I thought that if people ever thought to complain they should read this correspondance: [snip] - emailing to Morrus. Good idea KDL

    Registration Problems

Certain members have been complaining that they're not receiving the confirmation emails when they register. Knight Otu and Dr. Midnight have both brought up this issue on the old boards.

    [WoT] Breaking Weaves

On the old boards and on the WotC boards unravelling weaves have been brought up and addressed, but I'd like to know if there is a mechanic for breaking through weaves. Such as "hammering" at a Shield or Harden Air weave to reach for the Source or move again respectively.

Sorry. The search function has been disabled by the administrator.

Just a question. Because the search function is disabled, one is unable to use the "View New Posts" feature. That would be my most clicked link if it worked, since I like to read all of the threads that way as opposed to navigating the individual forums. Why has the search feature been disabled?
