At this point this thread has been veiwed around 150 times, which means if you discount my friends that I've linked here and me checking back to see if anybody has posted, about oh, say, three people have viewed this thread. :)

In other news, I got the Dragonstar campaign setting, which means that space-marines are now okay subjects for fantasy artwork. Check out this trooper, with a new, improved thing I call a "background".

Yeah it was me, all three times. hee hee
I'm glad you're sharing your art with us. And I must say I really like the way those yellow goggles turned out on the space marine. Very nice.:)

But please don't give up posting for lack of comment. I posted my stuff, which isn't even art, for what seemed like forever before I garnered a comment. I feel your pain. lol

Keep drawing my friend... I wish I never stopped.:(

I think your doing pretty good. Hang in there, don't stress if people don't put comments right away. We are all pretty supportive here, and will keep a close eye on you, wether we comment or not.....;)
Keep drawing, keep posting and have fun! We'll be watching.......:)

Hehe! I knew that asking for comments would get comments (kinda obvious in hindsight). Thank you.

Anyway, now for a completely origional, not Aliens inspired picture.

I think I'm getting the hang of this shading thing. In other news, if I get any more artistic inspiration at 11:30, then I think I'll just go to bed then and draw in the day instead of drawing at night and sleeping in the day. It's just better for grades and all that.

Since I just started a new campaign, you lucky people get treated to a character picture session.

First, Circe, an elven sorcerer. The daughter of an elf and a half-dragon from Khelorn, Circe is on Progen II as part of an intergalactic charity project run by the Church of the Mother. She stepped off the spaceship, took one look at Praxilus, and has since spent all her time in the Hotel, watching whatever TV gets through and hanging in the hotel bar talking with reporters.

While she hates her utilitarian flightsuit, it at least provides some protection from all the nasty people with guns.

"Like, why am I still in this hellhole."

Next is Lothar, a human fighter. He's on Progen because he heard that it's a good place for people who want to see combat, but don't have the training for a paladin order or want to be a part of the atrocity commiting force of evil the Imperial Legions have morphed into.

"I mean you no harm." **BANG!-BANG!-BANG!** "See, that was three 10mm bullets, not Harm, which is a 6th level spell instead of chunks of hot lead entering your head at high velocity, which that was."

Okay, 3 down, 1 more to go. Photoshop is my lord and master.

Today's special is Vaelril Lagireth, a half-elf cleric of the Lover currently on Progen to help heal the world's wounds, abiet by amputation in some cases. Outfitted with the latest in combat armor (cause some of the inhabitants don't take kindly to being healed) and a shotgun (cause that's the only way to heal some of the inhabitants), she is ready to go out and help the needy.

"My Goddess loves all living things, so I just need to remove you from that category."
