I guess that is what I am saying. I want a much more robust version of what the 2014 based on GP as currency and real time rather than having abstracted Bastion points and Bastion turns. I don't normally tend toward Simulation in RPGs, but this is one area that I think it scratches the itch.
I just want a huge list of fixed GP costs for various buildings and facilities as well as monthly (or weekly) upkeep costs for staff and supplies.
The whole point system and minigame that they proposed seemed massively overdesigned, yet not really worth the effort into implementing. I hope...
I think the Goliath is occupying that space. It seems like early on that they decided they wanted 12 classes and 4 subclasses, 12 species and 16 backgrounds with a lot of built-in symmetry of opposite choices. They floated the Aardling as possible more colorful alternative knowing that they...
I think the presence of the prosthetic hand is more of a representation issue and is more likely to end up on a character class/subclass where its presence isn't directly related to the theme of the class/subclass.
It kind of looks exactly like I thought it would.
I am sure the target audience of 12 year olds will process the art choices on this as familiar and alluring. However, the art style is so 2024 that it may date very quickly. On the other hand, there is no reason that they can't just add some...
I thought the episodes were good fun. I kind of have a bit of whiplash because I would prefer Doctor Who seasons to start as more grounded and then get progressively more batty and tonally all over the place as the season progresses, but clearly they decided they wanted to come out all guns...
I would rather have a Paladin be the Paladiniest Paladin to ever Paladin and then a separate class for Death Knight; but since WOTC designers and a big chunk of the playerbase seems allergic to new classes, I am definitely open to seeing how this idea is developed.
That is awful. I am so sorry. I hadn't heard of your project until just now and was intrigued with what you had done so far. Good luck going forward however you decide to handle it.
If you nerf/rewrite the ten percent of spells that are causing most of the issues, I think you can fix at least ninety percent of the problems with the Wizard and at least pull it into parity with the other full spell casters.
I don't that we want them to suck, but I do share the feeling that playing a fighter is basically playing in "Hard Mode" without all the cheats available to magic characters. I would be happy to see the class split into two with one class being the "Hard Mode" character and the other class being...
In addition to what you said, I know one guy who voted down the Mystic into oblivion because he hated the term "Mystic" and wanted it to be called "Psion" instead. A mystic to him was a Monk (probably from BECMI) so he was incensed that they were matching that flavor with the class name. That is...
"Warner Bros. Discovery isn’t satisfied with just deleting movies, they’re now coming for some of your favorite games on Steam and digital console stores. According to the indie developers, three games published under the Adult Swim Games label are being deleted from the platform, and no one...
