The standard cover is meh. The alternative cover is maybe a bit too cozy but I do love the art style and I will go for that.

The bestiary in Secrets is quite sizable! More than half the book which is great.

You could limit the amount of buffs you can benefit from at any one time equal to your Con bonus. Your body can only have so much magical energy flowing through them.

I know was confused at first actually. I've never heard of the book the op mentioned but I recognized the green dragon from 3e MM. I thought the B&W dragon was done in the 70's or 80's because it seems of that era and style. Thought for a moment Sam Wood was tracing, not the other way around!

I've noticed that too. I was bored last year and decided to combine all the major MM that I got from the DMguild into one huge pdf and made bookmarks by hand alphabetically, type, by CR etc, and I did notice after 12th level the amount of monsters tapers off quite a bit. Lots of golems, dragons...

My 3.0 PHB and DMG are still holding up but I feel it's not quite as strong as I would hope, I'm afraid to use them lol. However, my 3.0 MM has its pages falling out, large chunks of them! I had the same impression too from Paizo. I think it was when Erik Mona was on a Roll for Combat stream during the OGL fiasco back in January that I remember him saying something along those lines that PF2 can easily remove OGL should they reprint it without it. PF2 is different enough to exist...
