Has anyone here considered using Double Dare style physical challenges??

Long time players are the taste makers, leaders, and influencers of D&D. For example, Enworld is where the truly elite players gather and synthesize the future of the game.

If you a believer of the more is more approach, then consider Level Up. It's a 5E(ish) system that adds all sorts of cool stuff you can add to your 5E game. From the same people who brought you this very forum!

For some, it's a sense of habit or obligation. For those, you reiterate that they shouldn't play unless they actually want to and that leaving won't hurt your feelings. Others may be running on empty themselves. They may a hiatus to recharge or understanding as they're going through some things.

Not annoying: empowering! It's purposefully vague so the DM can select whatever stand works best for their table.

There are plenty of DMs on startplaying.game !
