I like the idea of different Celestial species embodying the alignment differently, like a Lillend explores the good via the arts, but Asuras explores it via impulsive passions and fighting evil on battle, and Celestial Elves do so by embodying the ideals of the Seldarine, etc...
I wonder if they will mention 4e style Incarnate Devas in the 2024 Aasinar section.
Also wonder if Tieflings and Aasimar tied to the Planes of Eberron will be mentioned, especially since at least one has both Fiends and Celestials.
I was on the fence honest, but between the fact that Aasimar finally get the respect they are do and made the PHB, curiousity about Goliath/Tiefling/Aasimar subrace lore, and that the price is not completely insane made it a buy.

What are things that never happened. There was no anti Strixhaven and Witchlight crusades. There was some concerns on the quality.
And Radiant Citadel had some concerns on how its economy worked.
Every single subsetting connected to the Radiant Citadel was based on a real world culture and we already know which are which. First adventure is fantasy Thialand for example.
Its not as bad in FR lore, where they didn't retcon Succubi past as Demons, they just made it a double cross, Succubi betrayed Demons to become Devils, and then betrayed Devils to go independant.
Did you look at the Tiefling? The Chthonic and Abyssal Tieflings look nothing like the standardized Infernal Tiefling, so I don't think WotC is as worried about a defining trait across the species like they used to be in 2014 and in 4e.
And in the 2014 book, races did mention how they unqiuely...
