The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

If you don’t use it that way and agree it shouldn’t be then that’s where I’m at. We agree! Maybe I’m misreading your comments but the later (it shouldn’t be used that way) doesn't seem accurate of your views. See above.

D&D General Less is More: Why You Can't Get What You Want in D&D

A few small assumptions allows for it without mind reading or more extensive playtesting than they already do. That the tastes of generally younger fans are mostly the same as the older - there’s probably even survey data to back that up.

@Snarf Zagyg I’m curious at how long these masterpieces take you to write?

But without the Bard which PC would the DM kill first?

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

Question for you and others that use it this way. How often do you block/ignore the person raising points you mostly agree with when compared to those you don’t?

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

Right. That’s what the implication would be. Don’t ignore head butting sessions at all! But, Even if blocks imply head-butting sessions that doesn’t mean that all head-butting sessions imply blocks. Which means using blocks as a metric for who has the most head-butting sessions would be...

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

Interesting. There probably is a bit of selection bias on my side then. The ones I’m not interacting with currently I’m less likely to realize have blocked me. Where the ones blocking me in the moment I notice instantly. Interesting.

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

Maybe. One question. Why don’t you have me ignored/blocked?

    I respect that.

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

I wasn’t talking about 7 billion people I’ve never had any interactions with, I was talking about the users of this site. Okay, let me try to approach it this way. Why do you believe that’s true? I believe most blocks occur because two people start butting heads and escalate it from there...

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

If it really was everybody else or most everyone else I would agree. I dunno that it is though. Far fewer peeps have me blocked than don’t have me blocked. If it was really me wouldn’t almost everyone block me? *pretty sure this applies to everyone.

The Ethics of Two Way Ignore

Practically speaking it would likely lead to more harassment. I’d be down with a count of how many blocks I have against me though.

I can get behind this message, but I think you may be missing some very relevant parts of the conversation that explains why @Micah Sweet raised that point in the first place.
