D&D 5E Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks Would Like To Explore Kara-Tur

Sorry you feel that way, but I am just stating how you came across. There you go again with saying that WotC should hire cultural consultants and actually hear what they have to say. Why wouldn't they hear what they have to say? I seem to remember that WotC in the not too distant past put out...

D&D 5E Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks Would Like To Explore Kara-Tur

I was debating whether to respond to your post because I don't want to come across as rude to you. But your post made me laugh. You honestly make it sound like they would have to hire a small army of Asian content creators just to make it possible and even then, they would probably fail...

D&D 5E Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks Would Like To Explore Kara-Tur

Well, if they have to issue apologies it would be because some of the readers are being ridiculous and not because of anything that WotC did. I am Korean and I absolutely loved the 1st edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Oriental Adventures. My Japanese friend that I played AD&D with loved it...

    D&D (2024) New D&D Edition's Player’s Handbook Alternate Art Cover Reveal

Honestly I am not a fan of the alternate cover and prefer the standard cover(which I really like). However I am glad that they are offering the alternate cover because some clearly do enjoy it. Having options are always a good thing.

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

This whole "debate" is ridiculous. The bottom line is that the piece of artwork was Larry's creation. He said he drew a male warrior, so it is a male warrior. You are free to imagine that it is a woman, dog, cat, owlbear or whatever you like. But the fact is the warrior depicted is a male. Much...

WotC Vecna: Nest of the Evil Eye--Deets On The Prequel Adventure

I really like the art on this release and would like to see a lot more from the artist. To be honest this cover is much cooler then the one for Vecna: Eve of Ruin IMHO

Breaking into Keys from the Golden Vault: An In-Depth Review

You can't remember specifics because what you said about Jeff is not true. I have watched many of his videos and have never seen where he had a "dismissive attitude toward inclusivity", quite the opposite actually. I think that if he was actually like you claim he is I would have probably...

A TSR Announces a Star Frontiers Reboot

Very cool news. As far as the trademark/copyright concerns go. I would not be surprised if there is some kind of agreement behind the scenes between TSR and Wizards of the Coast. Some of the people behind the new TSR still have a good relationship with the people at Wizards of the Coast. And I...

D&D General Jeff Easley Is Selling Art Prints

Good to see Jeff Easley making his prints available again!

    TSR TSR Is Back.... Again!

Lol you make it sound like a bunch of new designers are behind this just simply using the logo. Ernie Gygax Jr., Jim Ward , Jeff R. Leason, Larry Elmore (my favorite artist), and Jeff Dee are all from the original TSR. That is good enough for me!

    TSR TSR Is Back.... Again!

Ernie and Luke are very close to each other. But I am not surprised that Luke has no involvement (at this point). Luke always mentioned that while he would like to do more game/adventure design that he is way too busy to do so.

You : "Sometimes it's just time to move on." Me: "Nah. Bring it on TSR! Does happy dance ;)

D&D Movie/TV Chris Pine To Star In D&D Movie

This is great news. Chris Pine is a really good actor and I think he would be perfect for the type of movie that they are envisioning. The last I heard the D&D movie was going to have a Guardians of the Galaxy type of vibe (Serious yet fun). Chris Pine fits this perfectly.

WotC Older D&D Books on DMs Guild Now Have A Disclaimer

As an Asian I have never had a problem with it. i thought that it was a pretty cool book. I was always obsessed with the samurai so naturally I was thrilled to be able to play one in D&D. The first time I ever saw the book was at a friends house who was also Asian.
