I ran games for SCALE at GenghisCon back in February. There were tickets for the games (I believe $2 each in addition to the badge cost) and my last table only had 1 out of 6 players show up still. And the regular people who ran games weren't surprised at all.

Seems like a lot of people had much different experiences running this game than I did. I felt like I never had enough Fear, and couldn't give my players enough stress for it to matter. And they were great about taking turns in combat.

The original Spelljammer box set has Earth Space listed in tables for distances between the planets, potentially just as a reference point but I think its fun to theorize what that could be like. I like the idea of adding other flawed scientific ideas like Nemesis or Planet X. Or digging into...

Yeah I agree, the sword has the same wording as the part of the spell I would assume is protecting them from the devourer.
