One day, I hope to actually play DnD.
Casters get to be supernatural from level 1. Why should martials wait 10+ levels to get the fun toys casters got 6 levels ago?

Personal preference is that martials should be supernatural at level 1. Let everyone have fun toys. There are plenty of ways to do that without being a caster.
but as @EzekielRaiden quite eloquently put in their recent post, what do you specifically mean by a 'supernatural martial', because if you mean anything along the lines of 'secretly has the blood of gods' or 'their weapon is giving them superpowers' that defeats the point for people who want to play their martial as 'just the farmboy who stepped up' or 'the common guard who just sees the overlord as another unruly customer to be charged for their crimes'

So.... monks, barbs, pallys and rangers all are supernatural to one extent or another.

Do people have a problem with the guy using dragon powers to punch angels or the girl benchpressing an ogre for the fun of it?

Because they chose to play a class that has different strengths. Now if you want to play a supernatural martial, that's great, and options should exist for it.

It kinda makes sense though. In Marvel comics, you get different power levels from street (Daredevil) to cosmic (Captain Marvel). A character like Punisher (the closest to a badass normal you're likely to find) won't do squat against Thanos. Likewise, a fighter, without magical support in terms of casters or items, isn't going to win against fiends or dragons.

To fight supernatural enemies, you need supernatural powers.
but those are individual series, in crossovers and hero teams, which is what DnD parties more closely represent, they make a decent attempt to make sure that everyone is able to contribute vaguely equally, even if not all in the same kind of ways, the teen titans don't say to robin 'hey stay as base this mission, we're fighting a magic threat this week there's nothing you'll be able to contribute' or tell captain america to give his shield to thor and benchwarm for the rest of the crisis.

I've got a magic sword and enchanted armor. That counts as supernatural power. So, no reason for a Fighter to not able to do things, no?
What do the magic sword and enchanted armor do? What sort of "things" are you looking to do? You can't just throw the words around.

Your examples seem like two different things to me. How is the girl benchpressing the ogre?

For characters of radically different power levels, this is done through the literary equivalents of GM fiat and metacurrency.

Because a lot of us like playing 'regular' seeming people, rather than supernatural people with superpowers. I want to feel like I'm playing as Boromir, or Gimli, or Batman, or Ripley, or any other of the countless badasses without superpowers in media.

'Hollywood Physics' is fine, as it stretches believability without too obviously breaking anything. But I don't want to be playing a character with obvious superpowers all the time.

personally i think it'd be a shame if that's the only option, it's basically saying 'hey you can't play your character concept of mundane hero™️ who's just as capable as the other guys unless you stick to the small leagues' being mundane never stopped the characters in the stories from being a big damn hero so why can't my character do that too?
To be fair, at level 20 you're going toe to toe with gods. I can't think of much media where mundane characters are doing things on that scale.
